Haitian Gingerbread

One of my favorite foods (along with vegetable mash) was the gingerbread. Here is a recipe I found online. I will have to try it soon.

    Hi. I'm doing a luncheon (for a mission report from haiti) where the food is Haitian themed.

    Can you tell me if you tried this ginger bread recipe? And did it turn out like you remembered for haiti?
